Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 3, 2026
1. Overview
This Policy explains what data Fus1on Studios - a company owned and operated in Canada - collects through Fus1onOverseer (the "Service"), why, and how it's used, shared, and protected. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
2. Information We Collect
- Discord account data - your Discord ID, username, and avatar, via Discord OAuth or the bot itself.
- Fus1on Studios account data - your fus1on.host account identifier and email, via Fus1on Studios OIDC. We never see or store a password - authentication happens entirely on Fus1on Studios' side.
- Payment data - handled entirely by Stripe; we store your Stripe customer ID but never your card details.
- Server configuration - channel IDs, role IDs, and settings you configure, needed for the bot to operate in your server.
- Moderation & ticket data - case history, ticket transcripts, and related metadata generated by using the Service.
- Content you submit - support tickets, bug reports, suggestions, reviews, and contact form messages.
- Message content - processed transiently by automod (spam/word/invite/mention checks) and the translate feature; not stored beyond what's needed for moderation case records or ticket transcripts.
- Usage & log data - basic technical logs for reliability and debugging.
3. How We Use Information
- To operate and provide the Service - moderation, tickets, licensing, billing, and support.
- To communicate with you - billing notices, support replies, status updates on tickets/bugs you submitted.
- To improve the Service and diagnose problems.
- To enforce these Terms and prevent abuse.
4. Third Parties We Share Data With
- Discord - the platform the Service operates on.
- Stripe - payment processing and billing.
- MongoDB Atlas - database hosting.
- Resend - transactional email delivery (support/bug/contact notifications).
- DeepL - message text you choose to translate is sent to DeepL for that purpose only.
We don't sell your data to anyone.
5. Data Retention
We keep account, moderation, and ticket data for as long as your license is active plus a reasonable period afterward, or until you request deletion. Support tickets, bug reports, and contact messages may be retained longer for our own records unless deletion is requested.
6. Your Rights
Under PIPEDA, you can request access to, correction of, or withdrawal of consent for the personal information we hold about you via Contact Us or a support ticket. If you're located outside Canada, you may have additional rights under your own local laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA) - reach out and we'll do our best to help regardless of where you're located.
7. Children's Privacy
Discord requires users to be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don't knowingly collect data from children under that age.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical measures (encrypted connections, access controls, OIDC-based authentication rather than storing passwords ourselves) to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure and we can't guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
